Safeguarding

The committee of KLSAS takes seriously its responsibility for the safety of its members, speakers, and visitors.

We are committed to respect and equality of regard for all.

Everyone who attends KLSAS meetings has the right to feel safe, and to be protected from abuse or discrimination.

If at any time you feel unsafe or threatened, you should inform a member of the committee, either in person or by using the Contacts link on the KLSAS website.

Any complaint will be taken seriously and will be investigated in a timely manner by our designated safeguarding officer who may decide that it is appropriate to contact a professional body. You will be informed of this,of the outcome of the investigation, and of any action or changes which may result.

If you have any questions or comments, please speak to any member of the committee.
